Hurricane & Wind Damage Roof Restoration in Florida
Permanent repair and replacement after hurricanes and wind events. We assess everything from decking to ridge and rebuild with wind-rated systems that meet current Florida code.
Rebuilding Wind-Damaged Roofs the Right Way
Wind damage is rarely limited to what you can see from the street. Lifted or creased shingles, cracked tiles, and missing ridge caps are the obvious signs. Torn underlayment, loosened flashing, and compromised decking often hide underneath them. A roof can look fine from the ground and still be one storm away from failing.
Every restoration starts with a full assessment of the whole assembly. We inspect the covering, the underlayment, the flashing at every penetration, and the decking below it. You get a written scope that separates what can be repaired from what has to be replaced, and nothing gets quoted until we have seen all of it. If a repair will honestly do the job, that is what we quote.
When replacement is the answer, Florida Building Code requires the new roof to meet current code, not the code from the year your home was built. In practice that means a wind-rated shingle or tile system, correct fastening, and a secondary water barrier over the decking. The roof you end up with is stronger than the one the storm took.
This page is about the rebuild itself. If your roof is open right now, emergency tarping comes first to stop the water. If insurance is paying for the work, our insurance claim assistance keeps the claim moving while we handle the construction.
